Automatic Blending System for

DIGI-BLENDTM precisely controls the blending of virgin and recycle materials to obtain exact job specifications of the produced asphalt mix. The system controls start/stop and rate for both liquid asphalt and recycled material based on virgin aggregate flow. It provides full automatic or true manual (backup) operation which is totally independent of the electronics. DIGI-BLENDTM is compatible with plants having liquid asphalt meters that provide industry standard 1000 PPG (pulse per gallon) output and belt scales that have industry standard milli-amp outputs (4-20 or 0-20 ma).
DIGI-BLENDTM has single control board design which provides control functions usually handled by multiple circuit boards in other systems. The single control boards visual display features help a qualified plant electrician determine if the system is operating satisfactorily and provides clues as to what other equipment may have caused plant malfunction. DIGI-BLENDTM design concept also
eliminates the requirement of a factory trained technician to recalibrate the control board when a plant is moved to a new location or if replacement is ever required.
DIGI-BLENDTM includes pre-wired operator panel, control electronics and complete true manual backup.

EZ-BLENDTM system can field configured to simultaneously control up to 2 liquid asphalts, 2 recycled materials, 12 cold feed bins, multiple mineral fillers, baghouse fines, anti-strip, lime, rejuvenator and other materials. The software is specifically designed to easily perform "on the fly" sequential mix formula and/or TPH changes, including fully coordinated starts and stops. The systems software handles up to 500 raw materials and 500 mix formulas (virtually unlimited numbers optionally). A menu-driven method is used to manage necessary data. Both plant and system parameters can be changed using this menu system.
The Table Top Model includes monitor, computer, software, keyboard, computer interface board with cable, and NEMA box with plant interface board for AC/RAP control and AC/mix temperature monitoring.

DIGI-BLENDTM DATA LOGGER II
Data Logging System for
Drum or Continuous Mix Asphalt Plants

DIGI-BLENDTM DATA LOGGER II is a data logging system for use with the
DIGI-BLENDTM asphalt drum mix plant control. The print format (header titles, channel location, etc.) may be customized to individual requirements as necessary. Control and monitoring of the data logging process is provided by the 16 character liquid crystal display and 24 key keyboard on the Data Loggers front panel. Daily operation is simple and effortless. Once the printer is on-line, the DIGI-BLENDTM DATA LOGGER II will print a "power down" and "power up" time message and immediately begin to collect and print data. Any configuration changes made are permanently retained in battery backed memory until again changed.
DIGI-BLENDTM DATA LOGGER II includes computer, power cord and DIGI-BLENDTM interconnect cable, an Epson FX-1170 or FX-870 printer with connecting cable, and a liquid crystal display and 24 key keyboard on a front panel.

Anti-Strip Additive System for

DIGI-ADDTM is an Anti-Strip additive system that provides both manual and automatic control. Automatic is calibrated for 0-1% selection of Liquid Asphalt flow and manual for 0-100% of pump motor speed. This unit has digital display of both gallons per minute and total gallons. Easy two wire hookup to most 1000 Pulse Per Gallon output liquid asphalt meters.
DIGI-ADDTM includes operator panel, control electronics and 2 HP maximum motor speed control pre-wired in a 12"H x 10"W X 6"D NEMA box. The included pump assembly has pump and 1/4 HP DC motor with tach all mounted on a channel iron frame.
